The Vintage Modern Wife: Happies and Crappies Link Up
Time for another edition of Happies and Crappies. I love this link up not only because the hosts are fun but because I like the idea of sharing both happy things and crappy things from the week I am just finishing up. I know that everyone has ups and downs in their week so here are mine this week:

I like to start with the Crappies and get them out of the way so I can end on a "happies" note {pun intended!}

Crappies
  • I am sick with what seems to be a sinus infection. My head is full of pressure and pain. Not is stuffed, throat is closing, ears hurt... the whole 9 years. Blah!
  • One of the doctors that I work with wrote me a Rx for amoxicillin today since I am sick and asked for it and when I went to fill it after work the pharmacy wouldn't fill it because he didn't put a number of days on it... ridiculous pharmacy person! It has 30 tabs so clearly when they run out then I am done. Poppycock!
  • This week have been exhausting, five 10 hour days with no break {no lunch} and standing the shoe time in a row is taking it's toll on me this week!
  • Biggest crappie of all was on tuesday tuesday when we got to the office we were practicing at that day and the heater had frozen (it was -37 that day) and so there was no heat. The office was like 40 degrees inside and we have no heat. So we worse our coats and literally shivered to death seeing our breath the whole day. Wonder why I am sick? ;)
Happies
  • I am finally practicing in my specialty!!!!!!!! I have always been passionate about women's health and I have arrived. Hopefully this opens up lots of opportunities for me and I can learn many more procedures and things.
  • It is friday, that is always a victory.
  • Umm, I am too sick to think of any more positives right now, sorry! haha.
  1. Don't forget that at midnight, EACH night, your day resets for better and bolder "Happies". Congrats on practicing in your field!!!
