Crafty Practitioner's Cornbread Casserole


 Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 1 Hour 10 Minutes
Servings 8-12 (depending on size)

Ingredients:
  • 19 oz. Creamed Corn (Canned)
  • 19 oz. Canned Whole Kernel Corn
  • 3/4 Cup Yellow Cornmeal
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 2 Eggs (Beaten)
  • 1/4 Cup Melted Butter
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1/3 Cup Sugar
  • 3 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • Butter or Pam for Casserole Dish

Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Butter a 9 inch casserole dish.
  3. Mix cornmeal and sour cream together and set that mixture aside.
  4. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and pepper together.
  5. Add melted butter, eggs, creamed corn, kernel corn into dry mixture.
  6. Add cornmeal mixture in.
  7. Pour into buttered casserole dish.
  8. Base for 60-70 minutes.










  1. OMG! This is almost like my recipe! I love this stuff and could eat it at least once or twice a week. The first time I ever saw it made was watch Paula Deen on the Food Network and I memorized the recipe and just added my own "flare". Now I want to make some for Thanksgiving but I think Collards and Green bean casserole are enough!
